How does it work?

Please contact Nicole or Candice to schedule an appointment for drop off. Sellers must have a minimum of 30 items to sell. Please make sure all items are in "like new" condition. All items will be screened at drop off. Sellers must confirm at drop off if they wish to pick up or donate any unsold merchandise. Sellers who wish to pick up items must arrive at the close of the event on November 21st at 4pm.  Any left merchandise WILL BE DONATED to our charity partner, Room To Grow. Sellers who wish to donate unsold merchandise will receive a tax form from Room To Grow.

How do you get paid?

Shop Lucky Finds sellers will receive a check within 2 weeks from the date of the event
(50 percent of your total sales for the day). Please make sure Shop Lucky Finds has your email and current mailing information. If none of your items sell, you will not receive a check but will receive a donation tax form from Room To Grow.

What can you sell?

We take almost all types of brand-name items for infants through age 8. Each seller must have 30 items minimum.

	Clothing (gently used or new with tags)
	Shoes
	Seasonal Costumes/ Dress Up Clothing
	Toys
	Indoor/Outdoor ride-ons
	Baby Gear (high chairs, swings, strollers, bouncy chairs, exersaucers, activity tables, monitors, diaper bags, baby slings, etc.)
	Linens (crib, toddler and children)
	Furniture (rocking chairs, changing tables, etc.)
	Books, DVDs, CDs
	Bath seats or tubs  (will only accept if NEW with tags attached)
	Stuffed animals (will only accept if NEW with tags attached)

Unacceptable Items

	Clothing that is stained, faded or that has holes or rips
	Car seats or potty seats
	Anything that cannot sell for at least $2
	Used onesies, pajamas, bathing suits, underwear or socks (unless brand new with tags)
	Worn shoes (must be new or "like new" condition)

BEFORE DROPPING OFF, ALL SELLERS ARE REQUIRED TO CHECK THE U.S. CONSUMER SAFETY WEBSITE TO MAKE SURE NONE OF THEIR ITEMS ARE UNSAFE OR HAVE BEEN RECALLED. www.cpsc.gov

SHOP LUCKY FINDS STRONGLY RECOMMENDS SIGNING UP FOR CPSC ALERTS FOR RECALLED CHILDREN’S PRODUCTS.

Preparation

	All clothing must be washed, ironed and sorted by size and gender
	Shoes - Tie them together or place in a Ziploc bag with size marked
	All toys must be wiped clean and in good condition. They sell better in original packaging and instructions/manuals are included
	All toys requiring batteries MUST have fresh batteries and must be in working order (we will check all items)
	Bundle small toys together in a Ziploc bag

Drop Off

	Sellers must make an appointment with Candice or Nicole to schedule an appointment to drop off your items (all items will be screened at drop off)
	Bag items by size and gender (Please use ONLY XL Ziploc bags or heavy duty garbage bags)
	Please mark your contact information on each and every bag you drop off, including your name, address and phone number (if there is no contact information on every bag you drop off, we cannot issue you a check)
	Additionally, note on each bag if you wish “pick up” or “donate” unsold merchandise (Pick up is on November 21st at the close of the sale at 4pm)

Pricing

	Shop Lucky Finds will price all of your items, our goal is “price to sell”
	Items should be priced at 30-50% off of the original price
	Designer brands do sell better, as do new items that have the original tag—these will be priced higher
	Think about how much you would pay if you were buying the items
	WE PRICE TO SELL! ( ie.,$2, $5, $10, $15, $20, etc.)
	All items must pass a $2 rule. If the item can’t bring $2 on its own, pair it with something that will. You may bag several items together such as bibs, socks, similar toys
	If you have exceptional designer items, you are welcome to suggest a reserve price to us

Donation

Sellers MUST make arrangements to pick up any unsold items at the close of the sale OR they have the option to donate items to our charity partner, Room to Grow. All donators will receive a tax form.  At drop off, sellers should advise us if they will pick up unsold items or will donate at the close of sale on November 21st at 4pm . Anything left after the sale WILL BE DONATED. We cannot store items for the next sale.
